They were dumped because they were sick and they couldn't be sold...Desperate waiting for help!
I just received a call from a girl who found two sick puppies dumped on a mountain. They were in terrible condition and couldn't stand, nor could they eat. The girl who called me couldn't take them, so I rushed to rescue them. When I arrived, I saw two frozen Labrador girls, barely alive and positive for PARVO.
The veterinarians immediately took them to the clinic for treatment, but sadly, one of the black puppies couldn't make it. Her lungs were full of blood, and it was a terrible, sad day. We named the surviving puppy Lily, and she fought hard against the deadly PARVO virus.
On the first day, Lily survived the night, and the treatment continued. On the third day, she was still fighting, and her bloody diarrhea and vomiting continued. However, she responded well to the treatment and was drinking some water.
As the days went by, Lily continued to show signs of improvement. On the sixth day, she was drinking more water, and the blood in her stool had stopped. On the seventh day, she ate food for the first time in a week, but she was still not out of danger.
Despite the challenges, Lily fought hard and never gave up. On the 15th day, she overcame PARVO and was finally healthy enough to start her vaccines. Lily had a big fight to survive, but we made it.
Lily deserves a happy life filled with love and care, and we are grateful for the veterinarians who did everything they could to save her. We will never forget her sister, who couldn't make it, and we will always be grateful for Lily's fighting spirit.
