Little puppy was dumped on the road of street, crying for help, Why they can do that to him?
It's a heartbreaking reality that some people would rather abandon their pets than care for them. One such instance happened to a little puppy who was dumped on the side of the road, crying for help. Fortunately, the Dumaguete Animal Sanctuary got wind of this poor puppy and quickly took action.
The puppy was in bad shape, lying on the street, almost lifeless. She was weak, barely breathing, and had no strength left to survive. The team rushed her to the Animal Wellness Center for tests, and thankfully, she tested negative for distemper. The veterinarian, Dr. Gama, suspected that she was infested with parasites but needed to run more tests.
For the next few days, the puppy, now called Little Minnie, stayed at the Animal Wellness Center, receiving medical attention and care. She was two months old, and her condition was not stable. On the first day, Minnie barely survived, and she passed a lot of worms, causing her much discomfort. Despite being in pain, she ate and drank, but she couldn't stand, which frustrated her.
On day five, Minnie's blood results showed improvement, and she was much more alert. Although she still couldn't stand or walk, she was in good hands at the Animal Wellness Center.
By day six, Minnie began eating and drinking on her own. She stopped crying, indicating that she was in less pain. However, she still couldn't walk, and Dr. Gama suspected that she suffered from head trauma, which caused tonic-clonic seizures.
Although the shelter was not an ideal place for Minnie to recover, the team brought her back. However, they hoped to find a foster family for her, as she would benefit from human contact and cuddles in a quiet place to recover.
On day 10, Minnie started walking again, and by day 25, she had become the office bully, according to the team. On day 36, Minnie had her first taste of freedom outside the shelter, and by day 62, she was getting close to her new family.
Finally, on day 65, Minnie found her forever home with Melissa and Paolo, who went to great lengths to adopt her. She was happy, healthy, and well-adjusted to her new family and their other dogs.
It's heartwarming to see how much love and care Minnie received from the team and her new family. It's also a reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership and treating animals with kindness and compassion. Little Minnie's story is a testament to the resilience of animals and the power of human kindness.
